ACHIEVEMENTS

Dear Parents,

The administration at Family Christian Academy would like to thank each of you for allowing us to play a vital role in your child’s education and development. The past several years have been filled with many accomplishments, and we would like to draw your attention to some of our student and faculty achievements:

  • FCA offers a wide variety of clubs in which students can participate.

    • Math and Science, Beta, World War II, Art, Investment, Basketball, and Calisthenics.

  • FCA offers honors mathematics, science, and English classes.

    • Students who participate in these honors classes have achieved an average ACT composite score of over a 30, with multiple students at or above a 34, placing them in the top 1% of students nationwide.

    • During the 2023-2024 school year, FCA celebrated its first-ever National Merit Finalist, a feat that less than one percent of graduating seniors each year achieve. 

    • These honors classes are now available to middle school students and have positively impacted preparing kids for dual enrollment classes and improving ACT scores.

  • FCA serves as a state/district testing site, offering one test each semester.

  • FCA offers up to 24 hours of College-Credit Dual Enrollment Classes through LSU, with more than 95% of students dually enrolled receiving college credit.

In addition to these new academic opportunities, and to provide your child with the most well-rounded education possible, Family Christian Academy also offers a variety of sports to participate in. FCA has a rich tradition of success in all of our major sports (Boys and Girls Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, and Track and Field), securing 6 total State Championships, 3 State Runner-up finishes, and over 20 Final Four appearances. Not only do our teams consistently compete for district and state championships, but our students are also consistently recognized individually on the All-District, All-State, All-Metro, and Academic All-State teams. FCA offers the opportunity for your child to both experience the comradery that a successful athletic program provides and secure a high-quality education, which the future demands.
